Preparations are beginning for The University of Limerick Vikings up coming season

Who are we: The University of Limerick Vikings are one of Irelands premier American Football teams.
Where are we: The Vikings are based at the University of Limerick.

The Vikings are looking for self motivated people who can apply themselves to a team sport , whether it is in a playing capacity, coaching capacity or to help with the day to day running of the team on and off the field.

We currently have players and Coaches from various parts of the Country, Limerick, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, Galway, Mayo, Longford, Meath and Westmeath to name a few and you don’t have to be enrolled at the University.

What can we offer you: We offer you the opportunity to learn a sport from some of the best Coaches in the Country, to play alongside some of the best players in the Country, access to full equipment, the opportunity to practice and play in one of the Country’s best sporting facilities, games north and south of the border and a Team spirit second to none.

First session is Monday the 19th of September, meeting underneath the Sports Bar at 18:30.
Second session is the following Wednesday, same time and place. And so it begins!

You will need boots/cleats, suitable training kit and water. We can provide the helmets and pads.
